Taken from his obituary: Deceased - May 10, 2014.  Lived in Springfield, VA.  Marc received his MS in Agricultural Economics from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and was an economist with the U.S. Department of Agriculture until he retired in 2009. He received numerous awards in recognition of superior service and for specific projects during his tenure. He was an active member of his local community and held board and officer positions with the Springfield Swimming and Racquet Club, Springfield Civic Association and the Springfield American Legion Post 176. (He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the U.S. and Germany from 1970-1972.)
